Esta obra apresenta um cruzamento entre a vigilância silenciosa e a cegueira ruidosa numa era onde o Homem é consumido pela necessidade da partilha da sua vida privada no mundo digital. Numa cena onde figuras humanas avançam mecanicamente, presas a ecrãs, indiferentes ao mundo que as rodeia, submersas num cenário pós pós-moderno onde camaras de vigilância observam cada gesto e cada traço numa alegoria clara á erosão da privacidade.

Uma nuvem (cloud) de publicidade néon encerra a narrativa, símbolo da sedução tecnológica, mas também de alerta.  Em destaque a palavra ‘’CEGO’’ paira no topo, mas apenas o ‘’EGO’’ brilha intensamente, revelando a lógica subvertida da era digital, onde a cegueira coletiva não surge da ausência de luz, mas da luz em demasia, da exposição total, da ilusão e da promessa de estarmos conectados, uma falta de visão marcada pelo excesso do nosso próprio ego.

En| We have never seen so much and we have never been so blind.

This work presents a cross between silent surveillance and noisy blindness in an era where Man is consumed by the need to share his private life in the digital world.
In a scene where human figures advance mechanically, attached to screens, indifferent to the world around them, submerged in a post-postmodern scenario where surveillance cameras observe every gesture and every feature in a clear allegory to the erosion of privacy.

A neon advertising cloud ends the narrative, a symbol of technological seduction, but also of alert. The word ‘’BLIND’’ hovers prominently at the top, but only ‘’EGO’’ shines brightly, revealing the subverted logic of the digital age, where collective blindness does not arise from the absence of light, but from too much light, from total exposure, from the illusion and promise of being connected, a lack of vision marked by the excess of our own ego.
